A report is reaching us that the Manchester United footballer star Marcus Rashford, Zimbabwean doppleganger Ishmael Duwa Austin has been arrested for car theft.
Ishmael Austin, whose remarkable resemblance to Marcus Rashford could easily be mistaken for the footballer’s brother, is facing ten counts of car theft.
His latest run-in with the law allegedly involved a collaboration with a police officer and three other individuals

According to the court records seen by H- Metro, Since Asima, a police officer stationed at CID Headquarters, along with Innocent Chikakayi, Precious Vafana, and Brian Tomudaishe Kaseke, conspired with Ishmael Austin in the criminal activities.

In a carefully orchestrated plan, Austin and his accomplices collaborated with Batsirai Mhungu to execute their theft scheme targeting the car rental company. Their method involved renting a white Nissan X-trail, with one member of the gang using fake credentials under the alias of Kenneth Change to sign the hiring contract.
Modus Operandi Unveiled: Gang Poses as Fake Hirer, Forges Documents to Steal Vehicles
The gang had agreed to return the rented vehicle by March 3 of this year but failed to do so. To cover their tracks, they created a counterfeit registration book and sold the stolen car to an unwitting buyer, Cosmo Chirombo, for a sum of US$8000.
However, their illicit activities did not go unnoticed for long.

Upon discovering the offense, Wishteck Motors Car Rental made a police report. This triggered a thorough investigation that ultimately led to the arrest of the gang involved.
